MARKS and Spencer look set to be opening another of its food halls in Wirral.
The department store giant has applied for “advertisement consent” to promote its food hall at the Junction One retail park in Bidston Moss.
The application has been submitted to Wirral Council’s planning department.
In a letter accompanying its application, Derwent wrote: "I hope we will be able to move this for approval.
"I would hope that you can expedite this process to allow early occupation."
The retail park is close to Bidston Moss Tesco, which last year saw £5m invested in the store.
No date has yet been set for the application to be discussed by planning committee.
