Radio Clatterbridge volunteers got soaked today when they tried to raise money for the charity.
They turned up at Wirral Rugby Club's Fun Day and Fair to sell some CDs to swell station funds.
But with the rain pouring, sales could have been better.
However, it wasn't a complete damp squib, with the team managing to raise more than fifty pounds from the visitors.
