A TEAM of 25 cub scouts have taken part in a litter pick to help clean up a Wirral park.
The group, from seventh Bebington Scout were joined by chaperones and leaders for the operation in Brotherton Park.
The event was a great success with everyone joining in and showing what a great place the park is for all to enjoy.
Litter pick underway
The clean-up was arranged by Paul Griffiths, franchisee of the nearby McDonalds.
Dave Philp, scout leader said: "I would like to thank McDonald's for providing all the equipment and making it all happen and the parents who chaperoned and joined in."
McDonald's business manager Jo Gifford said: "I couldn't believe the positive response and energy displayed on the day from all involved.

"The cubs were a really credit to their Group and families and made Brotherton Park even cleaner than it usually is.
"The Rangers already do a great job and appreciated the 'deep clean effort'."

Bromborough Labour councillor Joe Walsh attended the event.
He said: "Seeing young people learn valuable lessons and make such a commitment to our local community is inspiring.
"Thank you 7th Bebington and McDonald's for making a difference."
