Tranmere play their final pre-season friendly ahead of the 2016-17 season with a trip to AFC Fylde on Saturday.
Former Rovers defender Dave Challinor's side are preparing for a season in the National League North.
Fylde have had a good pre-season - from their six outings they have won three, drawn one and lost two.
Tranmere go into the game off the back of a 0-0 draw against Blackpool in midweek, with plenty of positives coming from the game including more game time for strikers James Norwood and Andy Cook who had both missed a couple of pre-season matches.
After Blackpool, manager Gray Brabin said: "I don't get carried away with pre-season. I think the performances have been good but we have to make sure we're right for the start of the season.
"We have looked stronger in each passing game in pre-season.
"We're pleased with where we are at the moment but we're not getting carried away."
A full match report will be on the Globe website on Saturday.
