A WIRRAL teenager has defied expectation after receiving brilliant GCSE results yesterday.

Cameron Beedles from Kingsmead School found it a struggle studying for his exams due to severe dyslexia.

Despite these difficulties, the 16-year-old achieved nine GCSE passes, and is now looking forward to going to college.

Proud parents, Mark and Rachel Beedles said: “Cameron richly deserves this success.

“He could not have achieved these results without a lot of tremendously hard work both from him and the staff at Kingsmead.

“The school had complete faith in his abilities and gave him a huge amount of support. He responded by working tremendously hard.

“We are so proud of him.”
