Radio Clatterbridge today unveiled its Christmas programme schedule.
Highlights include an hour long interview with Wirral South MP Ben Chapman to be broadcast on Christmas Day. He talks to Paul Johnston about life in Parliament, his career working abroad as as a civil servant and how he came to represent Clatterbridge in the House of Commons. The station will also broadcast the Light Up a Life Ceremony recorded at St John's Hospice earlier this month.
New Year's Eve will include the Time Out Annual looking back at the last 12 months, presented by Dave Gardner. The 2007 Request Chart will also be unveiled, compiled from listeners votes throughout the year. Will Robbie Williams be top again with Angels?
There'll also be special appearances by a couple of big names. Former Radio One DJ Gary King will be playing festive favourites in a Totally 80s special on Christmas Day, while legendary American DJ Wolfman Jack will have two hours of 60's hits on Boxing Day.
Programme Controller Paul Johnston said: "We've got something for all ages and tastes this Christmas to cater for people who are in hospital away from family and friends over the festive period."
