NESS Botanic Gardens is welcoming back its annual plant fair this summer.
The event is set to take place on Sunday, September 4, and will be held in the self-contained herb garden by the main car park.
The fair will offer a variety of diverse plants from specialist nurseries including perennials, shrubs, plants for shade, variegated and foliage plants.
Organiser of Plant Hunters’ Fair, Martin Blow, told the Globe: “If you enjoy gardening, then this is the place to come to find all that is best in garden plants.
“There will be a great mix of specialist nurseries attending offering a brilliant range and diversity of plants.
“The nurseries will be pulling out all the stops to bring plants that will perk up your patios and beautify your border.
“There will be something for every style of garden and so many colourful flowers to buy that you’ll need your sunglasses to save being dazzled.
“If you need any help selecting the right plants for your garden the nursery folk are always happy to share their knowledge and experience. You are sure to find something to create a blooming brilliant garden.”
Entry into the event is £1.00 which is redeemable against subsequent entry to the main gardens if you choose to visit these on the day.
There is also free parking on site, a restaurant is open for teas, cakes and light meals.
Dogs on leads are also welcome at the fair but not in the main garden. The plant fair runs from 10am-4pm on Sunday, September 4.
