A SERIES of well-being workshops for children are coming to Liscard.
The two-hour workshops will see children learning the art of emotional freedom techniques called tapping, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork.
The events are aimed at children between the ages of seven and 11 and will be hosted by Willo from Energy Work UK, an emotional freedom technique and quantum touch practitioner.
The workshops will take place at Predictions in Liscard and are limited to eight spaces.
Sunday, November 6 (12pm-2pm): Energy Works & Positivity Club
Children will first learn all about Emotional Freedom Technique from Willo. EFT, otherwise known as ‘tapping’, is a universal healing tool that can provide results for physical, emotional, and performance issues. Several of the major acupuncture points on the body are stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips whilst talking about the problem, pain or anxiety.
Following this, the children will enjoy a ‘worry workshop’ — a session with Jess from Positivity Club.
Jess runs wellbeing clubs for children where they play games based around mental and emotional wellbeing — encouraging them to connect with their inner feelings and mental health through interactive games.
Sunday, November 23 (12pm-2pm): Energy Works & Little Sunshine
Children will first also learn about Emotional Freedom Technique and following this, will enjoy self esteem activities and yoga from Katie Scott of Little Sunshine.
Sunday, November 27 (12pm-2pm): Energy Works & Ever Evolving You
Children will learn all about Emotional Freedom Technique from Willo then following this, children will learn how to practise breathwork with Life Coach and Reiki Master Izzy Pritchard. Izzy will show children how to stay calm through various breathwork techniques and then take them through some guided meditation.
Sunday, December 4 (12pm-2pm): Energy Works & Merseyside Mindful Mammas
The children will first learn all about Emotional Freedom Technique then will enjoy a session from Aimee Greaves from Merseyside Mindful Mammas.
Aimee is a mental health nurse and Youth Mental Health First Aid teacher. On the day Aimee will be running a crystal workshop and meditation session.
