AS the energy crisis continues to bite, and temperatures stay below freezing, warm hubs are becoming more and more popular in the community.

Warm hubs come in various shapes and sizes, and may provide other support – such as food, hot drinks, and internet access.

Wirral InfoBank has compiled a list of the warm hubs available to people across Wirral.

The warm hubs range from community hubs, to churches to cafés.

Warm up Community Hub - Core Project CIC

With the cost of living crisis and the cold moving in they will be open for the community on Thursdays for a free Community Hub Warm-up time. Pop in for a chat, get warm and have a free tea or coffee or a free bowl of soup with a roll - or just a slice of cake.

Warm Hub - St Mary's Church, Liscard 

St Mary's Church is a welcoming and inclusive church, whose members love God and have a heart for serving the community. We will be opening our church to be a Warm Hub every Wednesday from 10.30am to 1.30pm. There will be tea, coffee and soup.

Young at Heart - St John the Baptist - Meols

Young at Heart is held at St John the Baptist in Meols. Young at Heart is a warm space with quizzes, games, jigsaws, company, tea, coffee and cake. No Charge - target group older adults. This is on the second Monday in the month.

Woodchurch Methodist Church is holding a Christmas Tree Festival with groups and organisations sharing info about their services and provisions.
