On Saturday (April 29) Gabriel was about to set up to busk at The Parade in Parkgate when he noticed Shane.

He said: "I know what car he drives from Instagram and I saw it drive past me. I carried on busking and then I saw him walk past.

"I think he was going to The Ship, but I asked for a photo and we had a chat."

After 20 years living in London, Shane, 46, and his wife Sheena moved to Cheshire in 2019. Sheena has been a member of The Real Housewives of Cheshire since 2021.

Shane's most recent TV appearance saw him disappear early as he quit before the final episode of Pilgrimage: The Road Through Portugal.

Speaking about meeting Shane, Gabriel added: "I've known Boyzone for a long time so it was an amazing moment to see one of them in person.

"He asked how old I was, and he signed my guitar strap.

"It was just nice to have a conversation with him. My grandmother and mum are Irish so we were speaking about that and he had a lot of time for me."
