THREE business owners in Neston are using their creative talents to help raise money for the Poppy Appeal.

Rebecca May, 35, from Neston, owns the business RJM Crafts.

This year, Rebecca has decided to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal which launches on Thursday, October 26.

Two other Neston businesses, Loren Hand Art and Cici Creates, run by Loren Hand and Ceri Crummey, have decided to collaborate with Rebecca.

Speaking to the Globe, Rebecca said: "I am good friends with Loren and Ceri and we all collaborate together for our small businesses.

"I asked them if they would be interested in raising money for such a good cause, and they immediately said yes."

Rebecca continued: "The reason we're raising money for the Poppy Appeal is becasue when people fundraise for the Poppy Appeal, they are helping to provide life-long support to serving and ex-serving members of the British Armed Forces, their families and dependants throughout their hardships, injuries and bereavements."

The friends will be creating mugs, keyrings, bookmarks and more with all proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal.

Rebecca said: "This money will go to members of the British Armed Forces and it's to help and thank them for everything they have done for us in service."
