A FAMILY festival including a live music stage, dance music arena and a kid's stage, is coming to Wirral this year.

Monopoly Events is bringing the Wirral Family Festival to Prenton Park on Saturday, May 11 from 12pm-11pm.

The event is brought to you by the curators of Liverpool’s and the nation’s biggest pop culture event, Comic Con Liverpool.

The event will feature a live music stage on the Prenton Park pitch where you can stand or watch seated from the stands.

The live music stage will feature tribute bands covering genres such as rock, pop, indie, ska and reggae.

A dance music arena including well-known local house music DJ’s will also be a key feature for the adults.

The kids’ stage will feature superhero shows, princess shows, dinosaurs, pony rides, inflatables, zorbing, magic shows, dance shows, talent shows, costume groups including Disney, Star Wars and Transformers characters, face painting, glitter tattoos, stilt walkers, magicians, pirate shows, toy stalls and a giant funfair packed with rides.

The bars will be serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including craft ales.

The food court will feature cuisine from around the world including Greek, Asian, Thai, Spanish, fresh Pizza and hearty British classics from fish and chips to gourmet burgers.

Dessert stands include sweet stalls, donuts, crepes, ice cream, ice curls and more.

For that luxury experience, there are a limited number of VIP tickets that offer exclusive bar access within executive lounges and premium seats with the best views of the stage.

Discounted early bird tickets are on sale now, and it is anticipated that these will sell out quickly.

Adult tickets will be just £17.50 at the early bird rate, but will increase eventually to £25.

Child tickets for ages 4-15 will be priced at £7 at the early bird rate, which will eventually rise to £10.

Toddlers aged 1-3 years are free of charge. Early bird VIP tickets are £30 for adults, £15 for children, and toddlers are free of charge.
