RESIDENTS in Ellesmere Port have been hit by a power cut this morning, Saturday.
The issue was reported to Scottish Power at 9.30am today.
Properties in the area of Childer Thornton have been affected.
Electricity is expected to be restored at around 2pm, Scottish Power says.

In a statement this morning, Scottish Power said: "There is a power cut affecting the CH66 postcode area of Ellesmere Port.
"We had no advance warning of this and first became aware of it at 9.30am. Our engineers are enroute to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible.
"We expect your electricity supply to be restored by 2pm.
"If you require any further help or support, please call us on 1 0 5.The latest updates can be found on our website www.spenergynetworks.co.uk.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
