A FOUR-DAY beer festival is coming to Wirral this summer.

The first-ever Wirral Summer Hops Beer Festival will be serving food, gin, ciders and lots of beer.

The festival will run from Thursday, June 27 to Sunday, June 30 at Hoylake Rugby Club with all proceeds going to the Paul Lavelle Foundation and North Wirral Round Table to support local causes across Wirral.

After the devastating loss of Paul Lavelle in a domestic abuse incident in 2017, friends and family of Paul came together to create The Paul Lavelle Foundation.

The charity was created to raise awareness of male domestic abuse, support male victims and survivors and provide healthy relationship education as a preventative measure.

Entertainment will be available across all sessions, except Thursday evening which will be kept as the quiet session.

You can enjoy hot food from their selection of local stall holders.

Details of beers and entertainment will be released closer to the event on their social media page.

This event is supported by the Ship and Mitre pub.
