AN INDIE music festival is coming to a Birkenhead venue.

Birkenhead Live returns for 2024 to Future Yard on Argyle Street for a weekend of independent music.

Following the success of its first year in 2023, the festival will welcome 30 acts to perform across two days in August.

Artists and bands will take to the venue’s indoor and outdoor stages on Saturday, August 10 and Sunday, August 11.

So far eight acts have been announced on the line up including The Rosadocs, Stanleys, The Heavy North, Delights, The Covasettes, Fiona Lennon, Lissy Taylor and Tom A Smith.

Organiser Luke Joynes said: “Those who have been to Future Yard in Birkenhead will know how good a venue it is and how important it is to the local community.

“This event is going to be a real celebration of emerging talent in the UK, performing alongside some of the hottest artists coming out of Wirral at the moment."

Individual Saturday and Sunday tickets cost £21.50 and a weekend ticket costs £39.49.

Earlybird weekend tickets available now which includes entry to the afterparty both nights. All Ages (Under 16's with an adult). Gates will open at 1pm on both days.
