THE details for Wirral’s Egg Run “tribute ride-out” 2024 have been announced.

The annual day out, which has raised almost £10,000 for charities over the years, will see thousands of bikers ride through the area’s towns and villages later this month.

The event, which is a tribute to the original Wirral Egg Run which was cancelled in 2013, raises cash for local charities and collects Easter eggs for underprivileged children in the area.

This year's event will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Riders will leave The Dips, Coastal Road, New Brighton at 11am and will finish at Clatterbridge with music and refreshments are Claremont Farm for donations of pyjamas, easter eggs and toys.

Riders will take a 20-mile route through Wallasey Village, Moreton Cross, Moreton, Hoylake, West Kirby, Caldy, Heswall and Clatterbridge.

Cash donation points will be available at The Dips for Claire House Children’s Hospice, North West Air Ambulance, and Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes.
