WIRRAL's Race For Life in aid of Cancer Research UK take place next month.

Taking place in Birkenhead Park on Sunday, May 19, it is open to people of all ages and abilities where mums, dads, sons, daughters, grandparents and friends can choose from 3k and 5k events.

There will also be a chance on the day to take part in Pretty Muddy, a 5k mud-splattered obstacle course, and there’s a Pretty Muddy Kids option.

Musical show

WEST Kirby Musical Theatre Company's next show, Another Night at the Musicals, will be staged later this month.

A free open day for anyone interested in taking up Crown Green Bowling will be held held on Saturday, April 20 at 1pm.

WIRRAL Recorder Orchestra is celebrating its 25th anniversary with an appeal for more members.
