STOLEN motorbikes have been discovered in a woodland area of Wirral.
On Friday, April 26 Merseyside Police carried out a search of Arrowe Country Park in Birkenhead after receiving recent information from members of the public that stolen motorbikes were being stored in the wooded area.
During the search, officers from the neighbourhood policing team found numerous bikes in a damaged state.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “Officers from our Neighbourhood Policing team have searched Arrowe Country Park.
“There has been recent intelligence from our community that stolen motorbikes are being stored in the wooded areas.
“During this search, numerous bikes were found in a damaged state. Sadly, they were not identifiable in their damaged state.
“Please come forward with any information regarding stolen motorbikes and any bikes causing a nuisance in the area.
“We will continue to patrol the area.”
