Radio Clatterbridge has introduced a series of measures to help the charity adapt to the life in the 21st century.
Members of the station, which was established in 1951, voted overwhelmingly to adopt a new constitution at a special meeting this evening.
It is the first update of the regulations in ten years, and reflects new technology and complies with the government's new Charities act.
Former Chairman Vic Charles was also made Vice President of Radio Clatterbridge, in recognition of his many years of hard work and dedication on behalf of the charity.
