League One side Wigan Athletic have signed Tranmere midfielder Max Power on a three-year contract.
He was out of contract at Prenton Park and decided to leave following Rover's relegation to the National league at the end of last season.
The 21-year-old, who has been with Rovers since the age of eight, will move for a fee to be set by a Football Association tribunal.
"We are very happy to have Max on board with us," Wigan manager Gary Caldwell told the club website.
"He has played at this level during his time with Tranmere, but is still young and will learn a lot from the experienced players in the squad."
A message announcing the move on Rovers website said "We wish Max the best of luck at his new club."
