TRANMERE midfielder Rhys Hughes' loan at National League North side Curzon Ashton has been extended until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old initially joined The Nash in November and has since gone on to make nine league appearances, scoring once.
Hughes netted the non-league side’s first hat-trick since March 2022, in a 7-2 victory over Droylsden in the Manchester Premier Cup.
A product of Everton’s academy, the midfielder has made 24 appearances for Rovers in all competitions. He spent time on loan at Chester last season, also of the sixth tier.
Curzon Ashton are currently eighth in the National League North.
