INTERESTING letter from Keith Massey (Letters, August, 9) concerning his opinion regarding 'real people versus computers and smartphones'.
The trouble is, the mantras of today include the likes of: 'Why not do it online? It's quick, easy and convenient' or 'install our app on your smartphone.'
It's all about saving money.
Personally, I would much rather speak to a human being than interact with a machine or chatbot.
Whatever happened to good old-fashioned customer service where you could see people face to face?
