WE had the pleasure of going to the leavers play at The Lyndale School.
As usual, every child, however disabled, was able to take part and enjoy the afternoon.
What a tragedy that this will be the last time this will happen, simply because 'the powers that be' do not appreciate how much the school means to so many families.
Our son is now 20 years old and is able to fulfil his potential thanks to the excellent care given by all staff at Lyndale.
More importantly, we became members of the Lyndale family and have remained so ever since.
We are very appreciative of all the support and kindness shown to all the family because a disabled child can lead to a disabled family.
What a shame future families will not know the care, kindness, understanding and support that The Lyndale School has shown to families for many years.
